ALLIED CONTROL COUNCIL

LARGE AGREEMENT ON REPORT TO FOREIGN MINISTERS (Rec. 10.55 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 27. Official quarters are surprised by Marshal Sokolovsky’s statement that Britain is opposed to the despatch by the Allied Control Council in Berlin of an agreed report for the March session of the Foreign Ministers’ Council, says Reuter’s diplomatic correspondent. The Foreign Office spokesman said a coordinating committee in Berlin had been working for several weeks on a joint report, and had reached a large measure of agreement. The only two issues on which agreement was not reached was reparations and de-Nazifi-cation, though on the latter considerable progress was made.
