BLOODY BATTLE
DUTCH ATTACK IN INDONESIA BATAVIA, January 27. Indonesian reports says the Dutch, after a bloody battle, occupied Krian, 13 miles south of Sourabaya. The Netherlands military spokesman said no information was available. It was not unlikely • that the Dutch forces had taken retaliatory action against Indonesian harassing tactics.
