ARAB REQUEST UNLIKELY TO BE GRANTED LONDON, January 9. The Arab League’s renewed request that the Mufti of Jerusalem, who aided the Nazis in the war . should be allowed to return to Palestine, is not likely to be granted, says the ‘ Daily Herald’s ’ diplomatic correspondent, who points out that if the Mufti were allowed to return to Palestine he would undoubtedly be chosen as an Arab delegate to the London talks on Palestine this month, and to this the British Government would not agree.
