SIDELIGHT ON VIENNA OCCUPATION.—The erection of temporary buildings and repairs to existing ones occupied by the British in Vienna have called for the supply of approximately 50,000 square yards of corrugated galvanised iron 31.000 square yards of glass, 20 tons of putty, 500.000 super feet ot haiciwood, and approximately 500,000 run. feet of other timber. This scene, in the heart of the Austrian capital, shows the communications air strip and hangar, both constructed by Royal Engineers. ine hangar houses three aircraft to fly urgent mail to and from the zone.
