TITLES.

to' the editor. Sir;—ln an advertisement calling attention to a meeting to be addressed by the Prime Minister, the speaker is described as “ Right Hon. the Prime Minister, C.H., P.C., M.P.” As I understand the use of the title,“Right Hon.,” it is applicable to members of the Privy Council, but from the wording of the advertisement referred to it would appear to be applied to the Prime Minister ex officio. Without' desiring to be unduly_ critical of those responsible for drawing up the advertisement, it would seem to me that the correct designation of the speaker would be “ the Prime’Minister, the Right Hon. P. Fi-aser,” etc.—l am, etc., October 19. Etiquette.
