WATCH KEPT ON U.S. AIRFIELD
(Rec. 10.5 a.m.) ' NEW YORK, October 18. Orders have been issued to Customs and other Government agents at La Guardia airfield to watch out for any attempt to smuggle in the jewels stolen from the Duchess of Windsor, and to take extra care in examining the jewellery of passengers disembarking from trans-Atlantic planes. Terminal officials, however, are of the opinion that the thieves would be unable to get the jewelk out,of England.
