HUSBAND'S MENTAL GDKDITION (P.A.) ’ AUCKLAND, October 18. “It appears from ■ these decisions that an insane person may contract a valid marriage in a lucid said Mr Justice Fair to-day, in dismissing a petition bv a woman to have her marriage annulled on the. ground that at the time of the marriage her husband was of unsound mind. His Honour quoted four decisions, adding that, notwithstanding the irresponsible and eccentrio conduct of the hus-. band, he, before and at the time of the marriage, was competent to enter the marriage.
