■ FINANCIAL'S PROSPECTS HOWE IN DEMAND Exceptionally big fields are engaged at the .Masterton meeting, which will be held to-morrow. A lot of interest will be centred in the meeting, due to the fact that a large number of horses engaged will be fulfilling more important engagements the following Saturday at the Wellington spring meeting. The Masterton Handicap, of a mile and three furlongs, is the principal event, in which the top-weight is Fnancial, the ruling favourite. Other wellperformed horses in the field include Cattcrick Bridge, Dileas, and Lord Darnley. Howe, a classic winuer this season, is likely to be a strong favourite in the sprint, which has drawn a useful field. Our correspondent telegraphs the following selections .
