SUPPLIES FOR JAPAN
REVIEW OF POSITION URGED (Rec. 1.15 p.m.) WASHINGTON, April 25. The Far Eastern Commission has laid down a policy that the United States should send only enough food to Japan to safeguard the Allied occupation forces. The commission said that the United States should immediately review its decision .to ship ■ more than 500,000 tons of food to the Japanese in the first six months of 1946.
