WEDDING
ARMOUR—JOHNSTON. The wedding of Shirley Margaret, younger daughter •of Mr and Mrs J. G. Johnston, of Dunottar, and Frank Moorej son of Mr and Mrs W. A. Armour, of Napier, was celebrated at First Church last night by the Rev. W. Allen Stevely. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a trained frock of -white satin." Her long, white tulle veil was worn over a satin bow, and she carried a hand spray of slipper orchids and stephanotis.' The bridesmaids, the .Misses Betty Johnston and Gwenda Chance, were in white organdie frocks, trimmed with pin tucks and Valenciennes lace. They wore organdie bows and sprigs of cleathra in their hair, and carried posies of cleathra. The best man was Mr Alan Armour, of Westport, and the groomsman, (Mr John Stafford. A reception was held at the Somerset Lounge, where the guests were received by Mr and Mrs Johnston, assisted by Mr and Mrs Armour. Mrs Johnston wore a black crepe model frock, a small black hat with ospreys, silver fox furs, and a shoulder sipray of orchids. Mrs Armour was in an ice blue satin frock and coatee, and carried a bouquet of pink nerines. _ For going away, the bride was in a hyacinth blue suit, with brown accessories.
