DISPLACED JEWS
OPPOSITION TO RETURN TO RUSSIA (Rec. 8 a.m.) GENEVA, April 14. At tiie World Jewish Congress a speaker asserted that Czecho-Slovakia, under Russian pressure, had begun to force some 40,000 displaced inhabitants to return to Carpatho-Ukraine, which has been ceded to Russia. The congress asked Britain and America to intercede 'on behalf of the displaced inhabitants who were Jews and who refused to return when they heard their homes had become (Russian territory.
