FAKED PICTURE
PRESS PHOTOGRAPHER SENTENCED (Rec. 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, April 14. For faking a news photograph, thereby bringing disrepute on his newspaper, a cameraman of the Belgrade paper ' Politika ' was sentenced to one year's hard labour, says the Associated Press Belgrade correspondent. The ' Politika's ' frontpage picture purported to show Marshal Tito addressing a crowd. The faking was clumsily done, showing the same crowd shot on each side of the figure. The charge termed this " gross professional negligence."-
