SUPPLIES FROM DOMINION DEEP GRATITUDE EXPRESSED (P.A.f . WELLINGTON. March 18. The following telegram, dated March 17, has. been received by the Prime Minister. Mr P. Fraser, from Mr Francis Sarantis, chairman of the Central Clothing Committee in Athens:— “ Representing donors all over the world for the free distribution of clothing and footwear to the indigent people of Greece, and having alreadv relieved the most urgent needs of over 2.000,000 destitue Greeks, the victims of a barbarian invasion, I feel in duty bound to exipress the feelings of admiration, affection, and deep gratitude of the Greek people for the generous contribution by the noble New Zealand people, and the untiring efforts of your unexcelled organisations for the completion of a supreme humanitarian work. With expressions of my personal deep respect and wishes.”
