WEATHER PROSPECT
The Weather Office advised at noon: An anti-cyclone is stationary east of the North Island and a series of depressions are passing to the south of the South Island. Forecast to 5 p.m. Thursday: Moderate to fresh winds, varying between north-westerly ana south-westerly. Weather cloudy and unsettled with rain in the western ranges and occasional falls elsewhere. Temperatures becoming cooler generally. Further Rather changeable; westerly conditions.
