VISIT OF LORD MOUNTBATTEN
REPLY TO DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL The director of the Dunedin Development Council (Mr M. S. Myers) has received the following telegram from the Under-Secretary of Internal Affairs (Mr J. W. Heenan) : —" In the absence from Wellington of the Minister of Internal Affairs I have to acknowledge receipt of your telegram of February 11. The itinerary for Lord Louis Mountbatten has not yet been fixed. Every consideration will be given to vour request, but at present I am advised that the total period of his stay in New Zealand will be only four days."
