HOMECOMING SERVICEMEN
BANGITIKI DRAFT ARRIVES FRIDAY AFTERNOON A. draft of approximately 70, comprising Army, Navy, and,Air Force personnel and 11 wives of servicemen for destinations in Otago and Southland, is due by Friday afternoon's express from the north. The reception arrangements at Dunedin will include the provision of transport to homes in Dunedin of personnel and their next of kin, and an evening meal for those continuing the journey to places in Central Otago and south of Dunedin. Next of kin meeting returnng personnel at Dunedin will be requested to wait near the R.T.O.'s office at the north end of the station platform. As no suitable train accommodation is availale for those whose homes are beyond Dunedin, arrangements have been made for transport by road. This will leave from the railway station immediately after those travelling have had an evening meal.
