MR CHURCHILL'S WAR SPEECHES
PUBLICATION RIGHT QUERIED IN COMMONS (Rec. noon.) LONDON, Feb. 11. Replying to a House* of Commons question regarding the publication of Mr Churchill's recently-released secret speeches, the Prime Minister, Mr C. R. Attlee, said that it was entirely a matter for a member whether his speeches were published or not. He would prefer to see the question on paper and to take legal advice before replying whether copyright of» the speeches belonged to a member.
