MAGISTRATE'S COURT
_ TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 12. (Before Mr J. (R. Bartholomew, S.M.) DEFAULT CASES. Judgment by default was given in the following cases:—Eric McGeorge v. A. G. Gallie (North-east Harbour), £8 12s 6d with costs (17s), work done; the Dunedin City Corporation v. Leonard J. McEvoy (Macandrew Bay). £8 15s lid, with costs (£1 14s 6d). electricity supplied. POSSESSION GRANTED. Murton George Austen and Harold Wellesley Austen (Mr J. 08. Stevenson) pleaded against Mrs Gladys Ann Berry (Mr R. G. Calvert) claiming possession of a tenement in _ George street owned by the plaintiffs and occupied by the defendant. Formal notice to quit had been served on the defendant.
Evidence was given by Mr R ■K. Aspinall, the two plaintiffs, and David Mackie Robertson, a sanitary inspector. After reviewing the evidence the Magistrate said the plaintiffs were entitled to an order for possession on or before March 12. No costs were asked for.
