ORDERED TO LEAVE NEW JOB

MAN WHO PRECIPITATED STEEL STRIKE SYDNEY, February 8. . Officials of the Builders and Labourers' Union visited a building job and insisted that D. Parker should leave, as he had not joined the union and was infringing trade union, principles. Parker was the " lidman " at the Port Kembla works of the Australian Iron and Steel Company, Ltd., whose dismissal precipitated a dispute which later developed into a Statewide strike in the steel, coal, and shipping industries. Soon after- his resumption last month, Parker voluntarily left tho Port Kembla job and took employment in the building trade. This caused considerable comment in union circles.
