COMMON ASPIRATIONS
> GHINA AND RUSSIA (Rec. 8 a.m.) CHUNGKING, January 25. In decorating 15 Soviet generals, Madame Chiang Kai-shek said: 1 "It is my conviction the future must hold for China and Russia common aspirations to live and let live—a policy
which will benefit not only our peoples, but those throughout the World." She was deeply impressed with the far-sighted statesmanship of Generalissimo Stalin, who was now hand* ing Manchuria back to the Chinese National Government. The Russian generals accepted decorations for 80 other officers who were unable to be present.
