IDLEALONG GLASS CANTERBURY'S WIN ASSURED (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Jan. 24. By winning the fourth race this morning the Canterbury representative put herself in an unassailable position in the New Zealand Idlealong class yachting championship. Victory in this race gave Canterbury a total of 366.67 points. The next competitor, Wellington, had 266.67 points. As the winning boat gets 100 points for a win and some points' are given to every boat starting, Canterbury cannot be beaten. The finishing times were: Canterbury, 12b. 4min 40sec; Wellington, 12h 7min 45sec; South Auckland, 12h Bmin 40sec; Marlborough, 12k Bmin 59sec; North Auckland, 12h llmin 15sec; Bay of Plenty, 12h llmin 15sec: Otago, 12h llmin 45seo; Manukau, 12h 15min 25sec; Hawke's Bay, 12h 15min 30sec; Auckland,-12h 15min 47sec. The positions of the competitors with four races sailed are Canterbury, Wellington, South Auckland, Bay off Plenty, Hawke's .
