Wainui, Napier, Gisborne, February 1. MOVEMENTS OF VESSELS. —Coastal.— Miro arrived in the Lower Harbour from Auckland this morning. After discharging a cargo of explosives she will Joad general cargo at Dunedin for Auckland. Ranui sailed this morning for Wellington. Holmdale is to sail to-night for Oamaru to complete loading for Wellington and Wanganui. Waiana is to clear Wellington to-day en route from Auckland to Dunedin and Bluff. She is due here on Saturday, and will return from Bluff about the end of next week to load for Auckland via ports. Storm is to load at Dunedin on Monday for Wellington and Wanganui. Gale is due from Wellington on Monday, and after discharge of her cargo will undergo overhaul and survey at Port Chalmers. _ • Wainui is to load at Dunedin on February 1 for Napier and Gisborne. —Trans-Tasman.— Kaikorai (U.S.S. Co. Ltd.) was scheduled to clear Lyttelton to-day for Timaru to continue discharging her Sydney cargo. She is due here on Saturday, and will later sail for Bluff and Sydney. Kauri (U.S.S. Co. Ltd.) is due from Cape Thevenard (South Australia) about the end of the month to discharge cargo. She will later proceed to Lyttelton and Wellington to complete. Waitaki (U.S.S. Co. Ltd.) was expected to clear Melbourne yesterday for Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Wellington. She is due here on January 29. Karetu (U.S.S. Co. Ltd.) is scheduled to load at Sydney, Port Kembla, Newcastle, and Port Stephens for Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, and Bluff. —Overseas.— Empire Caicos (H. L. Tapley and Co. Ltd.) is at present discharging jarrah from Western Australia at Dunedin. She is scheduled to sail on Saturday for Lyttelton and Auckland. Acadia (H. L. Tapley and Co. Ltd.) with a cargo of phosphate is due at Lyttelton on January 29, Ravensbourne January 31, and Dunedin. Akaroa (Murray, Roberts Ltd.) is now due at Auckland from London on March 5, after which she will proceed to Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers, wfaere she is due about March 20. Hermund (H. L. Tapley and Co. Ltd.) was scheduled to load at Scandinavian ports last month for. Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin via Lisbon, Sydney, and Melbourne. She is expected to reach Dunedin early in February. Themistocles (National Mortgage and Agency Company Ltd.) cleared Liverpool on December 10 for New Zealand via Durban. She will discharge cargo at Wellington (due February 9), Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers about February 19. Tyndareus (Dalgety and Co. Ltd.), from Liverpool via Cape Town and Durban, was to clear Auckland to-day for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers', and is due at the last-named port on February 7. British Restraint (Shell Company of New Zealand Ltd.) is due from Peru about the middle of February. She is bringing motor spirit, and w.ll call first at Wellington. Fort La Baye (H. L. Tapley and Co. Ltd.) left Tampa on December 29 with phosphate for Lyttelton, R'ayensbouirne, and Dunedin. She grounded at Sarasota, however, and returned to Tampa for repairs. It was anticipated that she would clear Tampa on January 11 for Boca Grande (Florida), and her original New Zealand ports. ' IN RADIO RANGE.
