WHOLESALE EXPULSION ORDERED (Rec. 11.45 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 30. More than 4011,000 Swabian Germans will be expelled from Hungary as a result of a Government decree, says the Associated Press Budapest correspondent. The decree announced the expulsion of all citizens who at the last census declared themselves to be of German nationality, or who changed their names to a German version, or were members of German organisations.
The Soviet authorities listed 88C German-owned enterprises in Hungary which are to be handed over to them, including 92 heavy industrial concerns, eight house-owning organisations, and 10 commercial transport, insurance, and banking undertakings.
