PUBLIC HANGING
GERMAN GENERALS SENTENCED (Rec. 12.15 p.m ) LONDON, Dec. 30. Moscow radio announced to-day that two German generals and a corporal were sentenced to death at Bnansk to-day, to be publicly hanged five hours later for atrocities committed during the occupation. They were Lieutenant-generals F. G. Bernhardt and Adolf Hammann and Corporal Lender. Another corporal, Karl Stein, was sentenced to 20 years’ imprisonment.
