NEXT MEETING AT WASHINGTON WASHINGTON, December 29. Mr Byrnes has returned from Moscow. He took the Naples-Casablanca-Azores-Newfoundland route, avoiding the adverse weather across Central Europe. Mr Bevin’s Skymaster encountered bad weather over Europe and had to be diverted through Denmark.

Mr Byrnes announced that M. Molotov and Mr Bevin had agreed that the next quarterly meeting of the Big , Three Foreign Ministers will be held, in Washington. A Press officer suggested that the date will be arranged when the three meet at the United > Nations Organisation Assembly in ! London in January.
