RUMANIAN GOVERNMENT
ALLIED ADVISORY MISSION IMPLEMENTING CONFERENCE DECISION LONDON, December 29. An Allied mission, comprising Mr W. A. Harriman, Sir Archibald Clark Kerr, and M. Vyshinsky, has left for Bucharest for consultation with King Michael and the Rumanian Government, thus implementing the decision of the Foreign Ministers’ Conference within 24 hours of the publication of the communique, says Reuter’s Moscow correspondent. The mission will consider the possibility of reorganising the Rumanian Government and arranging for elections. Reuter’s correspondent •in Bucharest reports that the Allied mission is assured of a welcome from all parties, but will find an extremely complex situation. The proposal to offer one Cabinet post to each of the main opposition parties is not too popular, as many feel it does not represent the probable strength of these parties in the country. Further difficulties are likely to arise over the absence of any stipulation which posts should be given to the new Ministers.
