A Londoner invited a farmer friend of his to come and spend a week-end in the capital. On the first day he took the countryman to dinner at a large restaurant where the prices were high and the various courses served in very small portions. At the end of the meal the Londoner asked his friend: “ AVcll, what did you think of that meal. 9 ’’ “ Fine," replied the farmer. “ And now—have one with me.”-
