NO FINALITY

PERSIAN SITUATION NEGOTIATIONS CONTINUING MOSCOW, December 27. Speaking at a Press conference, Mr Bevin declared that decisions arrived at at the Foreign Ministers' Conference would be a great help in tackling the bigger and more vital problems left behind by the war. Mr Bevin stressed the fact that the task of building peace was a very difficult one, and warned that all problems could not be solved at one conference. Patience, tolerance, understanding, and, above all, confidence in each other's integrity would be required. Regarding Persia, Mr Bevin said: "Final agreement has not yet been reached, and the matter is continuing to be deal with through diplomatics channels. The treaty date of March 2 for the withdrawal of troops remains in -force, and I have received repeated assurances to that effect." The Exchange Telegraph's correspondent says that it is learned authoritatively that the conference has not examined the question of Spain, Turkey, Greece, or Trioolitania. Sober opinion in Moscow regards the conference merely as a stage in a lons process of building peace, and believes that, more meetings arc required to establish a firm foundation for the ,gost-war world*
