SHOCK DRINK
DISCOVERY IN NATIVE SHEBEEN
(Rec. 8 ,a.m.) JOHANNESBURG, Dec. 28. Police discovered what is described! as the most potent drink in the world when they raided a native shebeen. Analysts found that it contained cheap wine, methylated spirit, croton oil, and camphor. Doctors said that it was capable of malting a man " a raging devil, insensible to pain."
