Waimarino, Bluff, January 7. Norton, Lyttelton and Antwerp, January. MOVEMENTS OF VESSELS. —Coastal.— Wainui will go to Port Chalmers for overhaul and survey after discharge. Gale is expected from Wellington on January 8. Holmburn leaves for Timaru to-morrow. Waimarino will leave for Bluff on Monday, January 7, and will later return to Dunedin to load for Auckland via Timaru. —Trans-Tasman.— Karetu (U.S.S. Company Ltd.) arrived on Saturday from Lyttelton. After discharge she will sail on January 5 for Sydney via Lyttelton. Port Tauranga (Keith Ramsay Ltd.), from Eden (New South Wales), is at present discharging her cargo of sleepers. Sho is to sail for Wellington on Thursday. Waitaki is to sail for Bluff and Melbourne at 5 p.m. to-day. Kaikorai (U.S.S. Co. Ltd.) is to clear Sydney early in January for Lyttelton, Timaru, Duuedin, and Bluff. —Overseas. — Kaimata (New Zealand Shipping Company Ltd.) is due at Auckland from New York to commence discharging cargo. She will complete at Wellington, and load for New York, Boston, and Halifax at Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, and Auckland. She is due here on January 18. Hermund (H. L. Tapley and Co. Ltd.) was scheduled to load at Scandivanian ports this month for Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin via Lisbon.. She is expected to reach Dunedin early in February. Norton (Murray, Roberts' Ltd.) is expected to reach Port Chalmers from Melbourne on December 30 to load wool. She is scheduled to sail about January 11 for Lyttelton, thence Antwerp. Acadia (H. L. Tapley and Co. Ltd.) )s due at Lyttelton on January 10 with phosphate, from Makatea. She will subsequently discharge at Ravensbourne and Dunedin, being expected here on January 12. Vancouver City (H. L. Tapley and Co. Ltd.), after completing discharge of. her Canadian cargo, is to load for the Middle East via Timaru and Wellington, to the agency of the Union Steam Ship Company Ltd. She is to saii about December 29.
Themistocles (National Mortgage and Agency Co. Ltd.) cleared Liverpool on December 8 for New Zealand via Durban. She' will discharge cargo at Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers (due about February 10). Fort La Baye (H. L. Tapley and Co. Ltd.) was to clear Tampa (Florida) about December 24 for Lyttelton, Ravensbourne, and Dunedin She is due at Lyttelton late in January Tyndareus (Dalgety and Co. Ltd.) cleared Liverpool on November 20 for New Zealand via Cape Town and Durban. She is expected tc reach Auckland about January 7, and her other ports of discharge are Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers. The vessel is due at the latter port about January 14. Rondeau Park (New Zealand Shipping Company) sailed from Montreal on November 28 for Auckland, where she is due on January 15. After discharge she will go on to Wellington. Cargo for the South Island will be transhipped.
Reaveley (Dalgety and Co.) came up from Port Chalmers yesterday and is berthed at Birch street wharf. Sho will discharge 1,500 tons of linseed from Port Pirie, and will then load seeds and peas for Liverpool via Auckland.
