MOSES WINS CHAMPIONSHIP (P.A:) CHRISTCHURCH. Nov. 5, S. Moses (Wellington) won the. 1945 New Zealand snooker championship tonight, beating W. Smith (Canterbury) by four games to none in the final of the tournament. He made scores of 56, 48, 77. and -68. and Smith made scores of 17. 47, 43, and 48. In the semi-finals Moses beat G. Southerwooo' (Canterbury) b,v three games to one and Smith beat L. Blackaby (Wellington) by three games to one.
