POSTPONEMENT LIKELY

HUNGARIAN ELECTIONS (Rec. 1.45 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 21. The Hungarian General Election maybe postponed or become a popular vote on the list of candidates agreed in advance between all parties, says the ‘ Daily Express ’ Budapest correspondent. Members of the Conservative Smallholders’ Party, which recently won a spectacular victory in the Budapest municipal elections, privately say they are afraid a revolution might break out should they win a majority in the General Election. They therefore welcomed Marshal Voroshilov’s suggestion that the parties shpuld agree to put up a joint list of candidates on a fifty-fifty basis.
