LADY ELEANOR SMITH LONDON, October 20. The death has occurred of Lady Eleanor Smith, the authoress. [Ladv Eleanor Smith was the elder daughter of the first Earl of Birkenhead. She published a number of books, some of her • best-known being « Flamenco,’ ‘ Tzigane,’ ‘ The Spanish House,’ and ‘ The Man in Grey.’ The latter was recently shown in Dunedin as a motion picture.]
