KING LEOPOLD
ATTITUDE TO HITLER UNPARDONABLY CONCILIATORY " BRUSSELS, October 19. M. Van Acker announced that the Senate debate on the question of King \ Leopold was adjourned indefinitely. This announcement followed a special three-hour meeting of party leaders at which M. There is great secrecy about the document, which will not be until the contents have been communicated to the King. 1 .Reuter’s Brussels correspondent says the opponents of the King who have seen the document say it shows that his attitude to Hitler “ was not treasonable, but unpardonabl.v conciliatory.” ■
