LONDON GIVES THANKS—SERVICES ON PARADE.—The largest services parade in London since the war ended took place on September 17, when men and women of the three fighting services marched through the city. They were accompanied by eight bands who played them to St. Paul's Cathedral where the Lord Mayor took the salute. The procession then moved on through Fleet street to Trafalgar Square, where Chiefs of Staff took the salute. In this picture a contingent of the First Airborne Division are marching down Ludgate Hill on their way to Trafalgar Square.
