HITLER IS DEAD. LONDON, October 19.—A telegram signed by Goebbels and sent May 1, the day after Hitler's reported death has convinced the Anglo-American intelligence officers collecting evidence for the Nuremberg trials that Hitler is dead, says the ' Daily Express ' correspondent at Frankfurt. The telegram read : " To Admiral Doenit/,: Top secret; only through officers. The Fuhrer died last evening. His testament of April 29 appoints you Reich Chancellor, Bormimn Party Minister, Seyss-Inquart Foreign Minister. The testament is being brought from Berlin to •you. Bormann is trying to reach you to-day to report on the situation. The method and time of making the testament known to the public and the troops are left to you. Acknowledge. AUCKLAND TROTS.
