SWIMMING

DUNEDIN CLUB The annual meeting of the Dunedin Amateur Swimming Club was held in the baths social room on Wednesday night. Mr D. C. Bannatyne presided over a large attendance of members. In moving the adoption of the an-' nual report and balance sheet, Mr Bannatyne commented on the number of junior and intermediate members who had been successful in the Otago championships. . He especially congratulated eight of the club's members who had won their school championships, primary and secondary. The following office-bearers were elected .-—Patron, Mr. E. H. James; president, Mr Bannatyne; club captain, Mr J. Barry; deputy club captain, Mr N. Ma'rslin; ladies' club captain, Miss G. Rix; deputy ladies' captain, Miss H. Ross; committeeMessrs F. Godfrey, L. Williams, W. Williams, Miss E. Marslin, Mrs Ingram, and Mrs Ferguson; treasurer, Mr A. E. Wilson; secretary, Mrs M. E. Woods. Twelve vice-presidents were also elected. .
