MUSSELBURGH SCHOOL

The monthly meeting of the Musselburgh School Committee was held at the school on Tuesday evening, when Mr W. M. Caddie was in the chair. In connection with the Health Stamp Campaign, the pupils had purchased 455 first-day covers. On Arbour Day a number of trees had been planted at Culling Park. A very successful flower and produce show was held this month and the sum of £63 had been netted as a result. Mr J C. Smith, the headmaster, in his report stated that there had' been a further, increase in the number attending the school, there now being 420 names on the roll. No fewer than 63 infants had been enrolled during the present year.
