FOOD SHOPS IN FRANCE

Fifty arrests were made in Toulouse in the week-end after the widespread looting of food shops. Housewives' in Montpellier organised a mass demonstration outside food shops, and former deportees from Lyons formed teams to inspect food shops and restaurants and see if prices conformed to the official limits
