ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL
MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETS A meeting of the Alanagement Committee of the Otago Football Association was held last night, Mr E. L. Hope presiding. The Canterbury Football Association advised that the trophy match against Wellington would now be played on September S, and suggested that the Otago junior representative, team (under 20) should play a curtain-raiser on that date.—lt was decided to accept Canterbury’s suggestion.
Advice was received from the New Zealand Football Association that the finals of the Chatham Cup and Junior National Cup competitions would be placed in Wellington on September 1. —The secretary was instructed to convey to the Western Club. Christchurch, and the Mornington Club, Dunedin, congratulatio'ns on reaching the finals of the respective competitions. • The Maori Hill Club was granted permission for its intermediate grade team to travel to Kaitangata for , a match on September 8.
