TREKKING BACK TO GERMANY
THOUSANDS OF TROOPS
LONDON, May 27. Thousands of German rifles and revolvers are being added every day to great piles along the Danish frontier, where Danish soldiers are disarming hundreds of thousand's of troops wearily trekking back to Germany, reports the Associated Press correspondent. The members of, Field-Marshal Busch's staff in charge of this greatest mass disarmament in history are feeding and moving 2,000,000 troops to concentration areas in Western Schleswig and Eastern Holland. So far ? there ! has not been an order disobeyed or a single acfc of sabotage. Members of the S.S. and parachute troops have been withdrawn from the columns, which, without guards, move slowly along'a course eventually leading to fields and factories, where they can produce food, clothes, and other necessities for defeated Germany.
