HEAVY WORKING SESSION

BANK PURCHASE AND FAMILY INCOME LEGISLATION PARLIAMENT MEETS JUNE 27 WELLINGTON, May 28. Parliament, it is officially announced, will meet; for the despatch of business on Wednesday, June 27. It will be an important working session, as the Bank of Now Zealand purchase legislation and the Family Incomes Bill are included in the programme. As a census is being taken before the end of the year, it will be necessary, if the Government proposes to abolish or reduce the country quota, to legislate this session. Otherwise the Boundaries Commission would, in. terms of the existing legislation, proceed to revise the electoral boundaries on the old basis.
