GERMAN NAVAL MEN

DETERMINED TO FIGHT ON (llec. 8 a.m.) LONDON, May 1. Reports reaching the Canadian lines from Western Holland and Northwestern Germany state that the German navy refused to recognise sinv surrender by Himmler. German troops facing the Canadians are showing isigns of slackening resistance, but the naval men are fighting desperately. 'J'hey are reported-to have enough of their own supplies in Kiel. Wilhelmshaven. and Ijmuiden to enable them to keep fighting for another two months.
