(Rcc. 12.15. a.m.) LONDON. April 26. Hamburg radio said: " Gocyiug is suffering from heart disease which has now entered an acute stage. He therefore asked to be relieved of command of the Luftwaffe, mid all duties connected therewith. Because at this moment the full harnessing of all strength is needed, the Fuhrcr granted the request and appointed Colonelgeneral Bitter von Greim, the new commander-in-chief of the Luftwaffe, promoting him to Field-Marshal."
