VOCATIONAL GUIDANCE
NEW APPOINTMENTS New' appointments to the staff of the Dunedin Vocational Guidance Centre have been announced. Miss F. ■Stuckey is .to be vocational guidance, officer for girls and Miss Joy Smith will bo: her assistant. Miss; Daphne Carruthers is to be a junior in training Miss-Stuckey. holds a B.A. degree and a Diploma of Education, and is mi experienced teacher, having taimht at Columba College and Timarii Girls' High School. Miss Smith is a graduate in arts 'of Otago University and has done research work in education. She was previously on the staff of the Duuedin Y,W,C«A. as an activities' secretary. Vocational guidance work is now' well established iu Dunedin, and through the many callers at the centre in Stuart stroet and addresses given by officers at local meetings the scope of the'work is,continually widening. -
