Now in the last day of its extended period, Australia's £160,000,000 Victory Loan has doue " remarkably well " in. its closing stages, said the Treasurer, Mr J. B. Chifley, to-day. He added that he was hopeful of the loan being filled, though the final figures would not be known until Monday or Tuesday.
