KURILES BOMBED
(Rec. 11.30 a.m.) NEW YORK, Oct. 6. • Tokio radio stated that 12 Liberators yesterday bombed Kita Island in the deepest reported penetration of the Kuriles. Fifty American bombers.attacked Babelthaup, the largest of the Palau Islands.
