CANALS UNUSABLE
FRENCH PARTISANS' ATTACKS
(Rec. noon.) IXMDON, July 12. French Forces of the Interior, in attacks against French canal systems, have made the Est Canal unusable for a fortnight, and the Marnerhine Canal for a month as the result of damage to locks, state authoritative French sources in London.
Attacks against telephone and electric cables are continuing. High tension cables carrying current for the railways at Midi have been made completely unusaible.
