HOME SERVICEMEN
MEETING OF ASSOCIATION At a general meeting of members of the Home Servicemen's Association, held in the R.S.A. rooms on Tuesday night, about 90 members attended to receive' the report of the committee, and also to receivo membership badges. The chairman (Mr S. Butler) stated that circumstances beyond the control of the committee had caused more delay than was anticipated when the Dunedin branch of the association was formed. Some delay had also _ occurred in securing and registering a suitable design for the badge, but supplies for initial members had come to hand. The association, stated the Chairman, was now ready to make a proper start'. The meeting, after passing the rules of the association and the necessary formalities for incorporation, expressed its confidence in the committee, all of whom were reappointed for the ensuing 12 months. The following are the members of the committee:—President, Mr S. Butler; vicepresident; Mr G. Daglish; hou treasurer, Mr H. B Murray; hon. secretary, Mr H. Woodhead; Messrs R. M. Wilkie, E. F. Lenz, R. W. Torrance, W. H. Armstrong, B. V. Brough, and A. D. Healey.
