FRENCH ADMIRAL IN DOCK
ACCUSED OF SURRENDERING FLEET TO GERMANS (Rec. 11.25 a.m.) ALGIERS, May 10. ' Vice-Admiral Admond Derrieh, who is accused of surrendering the French fleet and the naval base of Bizerta to the Germans in 1942 after the Allied landing in North-Africa, was placed on trial to-day: He was wearing full dress with the star of Grand Officer of the Legion of Honour. He stood in the dock where Pucheu was sentenced to death. Derrien is also liable to the death penalty. ' -. '
